Dr. Laila Nabavi has always had a special place in her heart for animals. From an early age, she knew that a career in veterinary medicine would allow her to promote and nourish the human-animal bond that brings us all such joy and comfort.
Dr. Nabavi grew up in Alpharetta, GA. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science. She attended her clinical studies at the University of Tennessee and obtained her Veterinary Degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the Faulkville Animal Hospital Team in 2021.
At work, Dr. Nabavi loves the variety of cases we see in the greater Pooler area. She enjoys getting to know our clients and their pets and helping them navigate their animal health journey from the first puppy and kitten visits to adult and geriatric care. She also has a special interest in cattle and goats and enjoys farm calls in the country. She shares her home with Susie the coconut retriever and Oscar the beta fish. At home, Dr. Nabavi enjoys trying out new recipes, spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and cheering on the DAWGS!
