Bethany has had a soft spot in her heart for animals in need since she was young—she’s always known that a career in the world of animal medicine would be a great fit for her. Her participation in the Future Farmers of America organization during high school only further cemented her desire to work with pets. Now, Bethany tends to animals every day as a member of the Faulkville Animal Hospital team!
A Faulkville native, Bethany started here at the clinic in 2011 through her school’s work-based learning program. She was offered a position during her senior year, and gladly accepted! Bethany is especially fond of the large-animal aspect of her work and is partial to working with goats and cattle. She also likes radiology and laboratory diagnostics.
Currently, Bethany is enrolled in nursing school and hopes to juggle human and animal medicine simultaneously when she graduates. When she has a spare moment between her studies and her work here at the clinic, Bethany enjoys spending time with her family and her menagerie of pets at home. She and her family share their lives with five cats—Bonnie, Rambo, Sushi, Tuna, and Silvie—as well as five dogs named Cheyenne, Max, Gabby, Gigi, and Nemo. The animal portion of the family is rounded out by a substantial herd of goats and chickens.
